This trumpet is ready to play and be enjoyed by the new owner. This is just cosmetic stuff and does not effect the horn's playability. There are some little shallow dents/ dings in this horn just from normal usage and the little decorative knob on the 2nd slide is missing. Valves and slides have just been lubricated for you) This trumpet is complete and fully functioning and plays great. This trumpet has very quick valves and working slides. Bell is engraved"CONN" with the shooting stars and 3 marching musicians and the receiver is engraved"DIRECTOR" The Conn Director has a brilliant tone and is very freeblowing and easy to play on. This Conn Director has the fancy nickel silver. 85% intact and has a nice overall shine to it but shows some average handwear/ scratches throughout. It's been checked over and play tested and passes with flying colors. This Conn is a great player and has the fancy shooting stars engraving pattern on the bell flare. Ideal trumpet for a beginning player or even as a backup horn for an advanced player.

Both clasps close securely but do not spring open- must be manipulated by hand(very simple) CASH ONLY, or will consider full or partial trades for silver coins or other brass musical instruments. The slides have all been removed, cleaned, and greased, and also move freely. They have been removed cleaned and oiled and move smooth and easy. All valves and slides move smoothly and freely. The inside has been thoroughly flushed and cleaned with brushes and the exterior has been polished. Horn has been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. There are a few minor dings and scratches, but overall the horn shines nicely and looks great! Lacquer finish is 90-95 percent intact. It is in excellent condition for its age- it's built strong and sturdy- and should last and provide you with musical enjoyment for many, many years. When they really built quality into them.
